Rolio, Inc. (“Rolio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Rolio mileage and gas tracking platform (the “Service”). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: name, email address, password, and profile details provided during registration.
• Vehicle and trip data: mileage entries, trip purposes, dates, fuel purchases, receipts, vehicle information, and any notes you add.
• Location data: if you enable automatic trip tracking, we collect geolocation data from your device while the app is in use or running in the background.
• Payment information: billing details processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and interactions with the Service.
• Cookies and similar technologies: used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze usage.

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Calculate mileage deductions and generate tax-ready reports;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support;
• Personalize features and improve user experience;

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (Rolio does not sell personal information). You may grant or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. Disabling location services will limit automatic trip tracking but will not prevent you from entering trips manually.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features of the Service may not function correctly if cookies are disabled.

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

Rolio is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions. We use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) when required by law.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Policy on the Service and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
